The Lady Via Foundation provides girls an opportunity to connect within a safe, supportive environment. Our foundation encompasses health, environment, community, purpose, security, and relationships in means of gaining awareness and discussion upon factors that impact daily experiences.

Program Summary

Each week, a group of six to ten girls of similar age and development meet with a facilitator for a couple hours. During this time the girls take turns talking and listening to one another about their concerns and interests. The girls can express themselves further through creative or focused activities such as role playing, drama, journaling, poetry, movement, drawing, collage, clay, computer, and so on. Oftentimes, themes are introduced which relate to the girls’ lives- such as being a girl, trusting ourselves, friendships, body image, goals, competition, and decision-making.

Girls’ Farm Camp

As children connect with nature, this aids them in healthy development in every major way- intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and physically. They are granted to opportunity to participate in an outdoor learning environment, while being stimulated by therapeutic activities in efforts of reducing outcomes of mental illness such as stress, anxiety, and depression.

So often we are swamped with the noise of technology whether it be television, phones, computers that we spend little-to-no time outdoors. We then miss the opportunity to connect with that which is so important. God’s gift to us: animals and nature.

Within this Farm Camp, girls receive the opportunity to connect with that which is so important: ducks, chicken, bunnies, cows, goats, trees, shrubs, vines, flowers, grasses, organic fruits and vegetables. A crucial way to connect to our natural environment while gaining personal development.

“A powerful opportunity for girls who love the outdoors and grow up in the city. This is an awesome way to learn more about self discovery and self exploration while engaging in their natural habitat.”
